The Power Of No

Jun 8th, 2010 by Chris in Attitude

The internet has given us many things but none more powerful than the opportunity to say “NO!”.

We don’t have to put up with the usual chains placed on us by society anymore.

Want to learn a language? No need to stick to the usual, boring methods – learn from someone who has done it differently – http://www.fluentin3months.com

In fact, no matter what you want to learn there is no need to stick to the conventional route now – http://www.ocwconsortium.org/

Don’t want to be stuck in the 9 to 5 grind? There are loads of people who can show you how to work from anywhere in the world. Check out Karol’s take on it – http://www.ridiculouslyextraordinary.com

The internet is full of resources and people that can show you how to achieve whatever you want in an unconventional way. These are just some examples – finance, lifestyle, work, learning or anything else will no doubt have blogs dedicated to a novel approach to them.

It is one thing to read a great blog or find a brilliant tool online, it takes action to go that step further and actually make a change to your life.

I am challenging myself to take a leaf from the books from those living with 50 things, students living in a van or people becoming fluent in a language in only 3 months.

This blog will be my thoughts, findings and progress as I move towards radical change in my life. It will be my turn to say “NO!” to the mundane!
